RenewSys was a part of a webinar hosted by Mission for Vision that brought leaders from the eye health and renewable energy sectors together to discuss environmentally sustainable practices in the eye health sector.
The theme of the webinar was "EYEing the route to climate resilience" where the discussion primarily revolved around the various environmentally-conscious approaches to eye care delivery.
The session was moderated by Thulasiraj Ravilla - Director Operations, Aravind Eye Care System.
Mitasha Yu - Co-chair, Climate Action Work Group, Dr. R. Venkatesh - Chief Medical Officer, Aravind Eye Hospital, Manoj Edakkatil - Associate Director & Energy Management Consultant, LV Prasad Eye Institute, Dr. Rajesh Saini - CEO, Siliguri Greater Lions Eye Hospital and Shivkumar Lakshman - Head Hyderabad Facility, RenewSys were part of the panel of speakers who shared their learnings and experiences on this subject.
Mr. Shivkumar Lakshman - Head of Hyderabad Facility also shared his insights at this session. He says, "RenewSys is the first integrated manufacturer of Solar PV Modules (1.75 GW) and its key components Encapsulants (3 GW), Backsheets (4 GW), and Solar PV Cells (130 MW).
